Lately I've been feeling so insane Amazed by all the ways that people always say they'll change Knowing doesn't help me with the pain Could it be the truth or is it just the blues of a rainy day? Lately, lately Lately I've been feeling so insane Lately, lately Amazed by all the ways that people always say they'll change Baby I've been finding it hard to tell When you feel good and when you're verging on the unwell Cause my own bad behaviour rings no bells I used to be surviving, now I push away all those who mean well Lately, lately Lately I've been feeling so insane Lately, lately Amazed by all the ways that people always say they'll change Lately, lately Lately I've been feeling so insane Lately, lately Amazed by all the ways that people always say they'll change

Girl, I'm calling, pick up the phone I've got something to say Money man don't buy you haven't been well Get on up there and play Cause time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman 25 years old, you should know by no The world don't take kindly to age People waste their lives sitting on dreams What a privilege, this pain Cause time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman Time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman Ooh Ooh Do you understand the position you're in? Cause I'm not certain you do If you don't do what we say We'll move on to someone new Cause time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman Time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman Time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman Time waits, time waits Time waits for no woman Ooh Ooh

Come around the corner, park your car, Come up the heavy stairs The nurse will let you in, go steady now The family is there Hold his hand, stroke his hair, See how the grief alleviates Whisper words of wisdom I never Had the chance to say I know you don’t believe in the afterlife But I do,I do See how you carry him in your heart and mind like I do Tell him he accomplished all the most Important things in life Tell him many, many people still Appreciate his light How we proud we are to walk the planet Sharing the eyes We will cradle him inside our hearts Until the end of time I know you don’t believe in the afterlife But I do,I do See how you carry him in your heart and mind like I do I do Ooh, I still believe, I still believe in love Ooh, I still believe, I still believe in love I’ll never forget you I’ll never forget you I’ll never forget you I still believe in love I’ll never forget you I’ll never forget you I’ll never forget you I still believe in love Ooh, yeah yeah yeah, woah Never forget you Never forget you I’ll never forget you Never forget you Never forget you I’ll never forget you

about

The EP explores how the thing you love can destroy you, but that if you take control, it doesn't have to. Music, and living a musical life, is supposed to be healing, not exhausting. This EP serves as a signpost to that mission.

In Hanorah's words:
"Time Waits" was inspired by the popular narratives of Amy Winehouse and Janis Joplin. The music industry chews up and spits out young women like we're nothing.
The lyrics follow a phone call with someone in the industry I really respected, who was trying to tell me to stay in a bad deal because I could potentially never have another opportunity like that again. The subtext was that I was a promising young woman and that my value would only decrease with time, because life for female artists is supposed to end in a cosmic explosion, or a public display of insanity. The conversation disappointed me and had me feeling more isolated and alone. And then I got angry. So I wrote "time waits for no woman".
